教授，博士生导师，国土资源部矿山地质环境保护与土地复垦方案评审专家库成员，国土资源部地质公园与矿山公园评审专家库成员。被国土资源部评为“抗震救灾先进个人”，被中国地质大学（武汉）评为“优秀班主任”、“社会实践优秀指导老师”、“研究生的良师益友”、“师德师风道德模范”、“湖北省师德先进个人”等荣誉称号。

He is a member of the Expert Database for the Evaluation of Mine Geological Environment Protection and Land Reclamation Schemes of the Ministry of Land and Resources, as well as a member of the Expert Database for the Evaluation of Geoparks and Mine Parks of the Ministry of Land and Resources.He has been honored as an "Advanced Individual in Earthquake Relief" by the Ministry of Land and Resources. Additionally, he has been recognized by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with titles such as "Outstanding Head Teacher", "Outstanding Instructor for Social Practice", "A Good Teacher and Helpful Friend of Postgraduate Students", "Model of Teachers' Morality", and "Advanced Individual in Teachers' Morality in Hubei Province".
